Design Decisions
The planner enforces physical reality. Packs pass between performers only when there is a real buffer of scenes or an intermission, quick changes never split an assignment, and anything that cannot be covered is flagged with the reason instead of silently dropped. A bottleneck diagnostic names the busiest scene so the designer knows what to cut or re-mic.
Everything runs in the browser with no accounts and no upload. A show never leaves the user's machine, which matters to schools and community theatres, and the tool keeps working backstage where wifi does not. Output is deliberately paper-first: scene sheet, swap sheet, and per-performer cards, all print-friendly.
Sold calmly as a freemium product. The free tier covers small shows, a 29 dollar one-time license unlocks the rest with offline keys and no server, and the plan was validated on a real 39-scene production with 28 performers per cast sharing 12 channels.
