Marcus Realty Group

Sleek, personal brand-forward

This design was built for a fictional real estate agent building a personal brand in a competitive metro market. In real estate, you are the product. The website needs to sell the agent as much as the listings.

Design Decisions

Black and white with a single bold accent color (electric blue). The monochrome base lets the agent's headshot and property photos pop. The accent color is used sparingly for CTAs and key data points. This is a personal brand, so the design needs to feel like a person, not a corporation.

The hero leads with the agent's face and a direct headline about results. Not "Welcome to Marcus Realty" but "147 Homes Sold in North Dallas." Numbers build credibility faster than adjectives. The hero also includes a property search bar because visitors often arrive with intent.

The layout alternates between personal brand content (testimonials, bio, market insights) and functional content (listings, search, market data). The agent is woven throughout rather than confined to an "About" page. Every section reminds you who is behind these results.

Typography is modern and bold. A tight, high-contrast sans-serif for headlines gives it an urban, confident feel. Property details use a monospaced or tabular font for prices and stats to feel precise and data-driven. The overall effect is: this person is sharp, current, and knows their market.
